SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- A teenager arrested after police found his pictures of potted marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia posted on a MySpace.com Web page will serve 30 days in jail.
Moua Yang, 18, pleaded no contest Friday in Sheboygan County Circuit Court to felony marijuana manufacturing and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police monitoring for gang activity traced the information to the Sheboygan teenager from the popular networking Web site.

MURRIETA – A Los Angeles “charmer” is being prosecuted for allegedly getting teenage girls he met on MySpace.com, at least one of whom is from Temecula, to send him nude photos of themselves, a sheriff's sergeant said Tuesday.
Kevin Dale Pierce, 33, was arrested last Wednesday when deputies searched his home and found several external hard drives containing numerous photos of undressed girls, many of them teenagers 14 to 17 years old, Temecula police Sgt. Bill DeLuna said.
The investigation started in January, when a Temecula resident reported that her 14-year-old daughter was swapping notes with someone who claimed to be a 19-year-old art student at UCLA, DeLuna said.
The two started an online relationship last November and, after several weeks, established a bond of trust, according to the sergeant. The suspect persuaded the girl to send photos of herself in various stages of undress, purportedly for an art project, DeLuna said.

An Illinois man suspected of threatening to expose a Milpitas girl's private e-mail information unless she performed sexually explicit acts via the Internet, surrendered to Milpitas Police Department last week.
Patrick J. Halsey, 20, of Sycamore, Ill., surrendered to Milpitas police March 13 following an investigation involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
"He self-surrendered and then he posted bail," said Milpitas police Sgt. Daryl Sequeira. "I think he drove all the way from Illinois to self-surrender."
Halsey was charged with extortion and use of a minor to perform prohibited acts.
Steve Fein, a Santa Clara County deputy district attorney, said Halsey is expected to appear in Santa Clara County Superior Court in San Jose for a March 27 arraignment.
If convicted on the two felony crimes, Fein said Halsey could face prison time.

STUART — An Air Force sergeant who worked at a Virginia base that houses fighter jets was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition after police said he performed a sex act on a Web cam in front of what he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
The girl was actually a Martin County Sheriff's Office detective conducting an undercover investigation on Yahoo Messenger.
The arrest of Rex Jeffrey Roberts, 44, was just the latest in a string of such undercover Internet chat stings run by Martin detectives. Sheriff's records show that Roberts worked at Langley Air Force base, home of the 1st Fighter Wing, which includes F-15C Eagle and F-22 Raptor fighter planes.
In the latest case, Det. Patrick Colasuonno reported he was in a public chat room when a person using the screen name "raptorchief0632006" asked him to view a Web cam.
The offer was unsolicited, the detective noted.

Man Arrested Again For MySpace Sex Crimes

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - A Klamath Falls man is in custody again after turning himself in for sex-related crimes involving a 14-year-old girl he met on MySpace.
PolkDetectives say 36-year-old Joseph Polk uses the account name "Boomalicious" to initiate contact with young girls. Polk was first arrested in January for sexual contact with another teenage girl he met on the Web site. He claimed to be a 15-year-old boy and he and the girl arranged to meet, at which time the she realized the suspect was older. She says the two engaged in oral sex.

Twelve Internet sexual predators were arrested recently by the Southern Hillsborough Cyber Safe Task Force, said local police at a press conference at the Merrimack Police Department on Tuesday.
Hudson Police Chief Richard Gendron, whom First Assistant Hillsborough County Attorney Roger Chadwick calls the “brainchild of the task force,” said his department has made seven arrests since November, while Merrimack and Brookline police have each made two arrests of alleged Internet predators and one by Pelham.
Daniel Fellows, 21, of Deering, was arrested by Merrimack police on Feb. 6 when he appeared at a pre-arranged location to meet with a minor who turned out to be a cop.
A 26-year-old cook from Bretton Woods, Erik Van Winkle, was also arrested for certain uses of computer prohibited on Dec. 13, 2006.
In Brookline, police arrested Joel Hunt, 24, of Antrim and Robert Frasier, 22, of Rochester in January and February, respectively.
MySpace could be to blame for a missing teen

A 13-year-old Saint Joseph girl has been missing since Friday morning. Her family fears the internet site, MySpace could be to blame.
While police have not issued an amber alert, her family is taking matters into its own hands. Choking back tears, Amber Dorman describes her worst feeling ever.
"It`s every parent`s, auntie’s, grandmother`s fear of this day right here of not knowing where your child is," Dorman said. "She`s my niece, but she`s more like my daughter."
Dorman has had custody of her 13-year-old niece, Justine Jones, for most of her life. She said not knowing where she is, is terrifying.
"I`m scared something bad will happen and she won`t come home," Dorman said.
It`s a problem St. Joseph Police said happens all too often, teens running away from home.
"We probably get two or three a week," St. Joseph Police Commander Jim Connors said.
Suspected sexual predator arrested in Montgomery County

The Harris Count Constable Precinct 6 and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department teamed up to arrest a suspected sexual predator.
The suspect, Iran Perez-Bello, 30, is accused of using the Internet to lure a 16-year-old girl into a sexual relationship.
Investigators said Perez-Bello initially made contact with the girl on a chat site and had been seeing her since late last year.
